Desirable Main-Floor Living with Loft
Helping customers buy their new construction homes in Regency at Dominion Valley was the beginning of a very rewarding career. Now as an experienced Realtor, I am proud to help the original residents of Regency sell their once newly constructed homes to equally enthusiastic buyers wanting to become new residents in this amazing active adult community. My latest Regency home sold is a beautiful Monaco Bordeaux model from the Potomac collection. This model has been one of my Regency favorites, the floor plan bursts with elegance and versatility. The Bordeaux elevation as seen above has tremendous curb appeal within the community, showing a very attractive roof line and a unique half hexagon design next to the front entrance. With three bedrooms, three bath, a loft! and over 2800 square feet, joy and comfort are words to describe this property.
One of the largest considerations when choosing a retirement home is the number of levels. Floorplan choices include main level only, main level and a loft, main level and a basement, or all three levels were offered by the builder. Interestingly enough, most prospective buyers chose either a main level with a loft or a main level with a basement, just a few choose the three-level option. Although this Monaco appears to have only one level from the front view, it does not. The loft is cleverly designed into this lovely home, adding a pleasant, airy and open architectural feeling to the residence. I absolutely love the loft’s effect on the living space of this home.
Basement options were also in demand during the building of Regency homes. Having a basement adds more square feet, lowers the home’s profile, and adds privacy to the home in most cases. Having a basement also creates the possibility for more storage, movie theaters, wet bars, gyms, and other specialty rooms.
No matter the design chosen by these pioneer residents, they understandably knew that living in Regency at Dominion Valley was a unique luxury living experience. With less than a thousand homes, and a fantastic array of amenities, Regency is truly a paradise community in Northern Virginia.
