Enjoying a Night Out, Right in My Own Backyard
After a busy but fun day with my buyers, exploring real estate all over Haymarket and Gainesville, it felt like cooking for my family was not happening that evening. Suddenly, I remember that our Chef, Hector Lopez, was being nominated for Chef of the Year, a fun contest among all the ClubCorp communities; and a mile later that was our plan for dinner. As proud residents of Dominion Valley, a night out at Palmer’s Table and Tap was a perfect opportunity to vote, eat, socialize, and enjoy at what feels like our private top rated family restaurant. The menu was creative and eclectic, we had steamed Australian mussels, prepared to perfection, tuna poke on Asian slaw, firecracker shrimp on fresh greens, and the always classic Palmer’s Burger. Our compliments, and our votes, to the Chef for the amazing meal and the well-deserved nomination! Finishing the night with a Cosmopolitan and a pleasant conversation with family and neighbors makes living in Dominion Valley a paradise in these extraordinary times.
